Manchester United In Italy For Pogba Talks After A Fee Has Been Agreed

The agent of Paul Pogba, Mino Raiola denied that an agreement has been reached for the transfer of French international midfielder of Juventus to Manchester United earlier on Thursday.

“There is no deal set regarding Paul Pogba. That’s crap,” tweeted the Italian-Dutch agent of 23-year-old.

For his part, the Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has refused to confirm the existence of discussions between Ed Woodward, the executive vice president of the club and Raoila.

“I do not confirm and I do not deny,” explained the “Special One” from Shanghai where the “Red Devils” face Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai on Friday in preparation for the match.

“I do not think it is correct to speak of players from other clubs. And it is a Juventus player, not a Manchester United one,” added the Portuguese.

According to the British press, negotiations to Pogba ‘s transfer to MU began on Monday between Juventus and Manchester United club. An amount of 120 million euros has been mentioned and that will make the current Juventus midfielder the most expensive player in history.

MU had indeed made an offer of nearly 119 million euros (100 million pounds) after that of 101 million euros (85 million pounds), rejected by the Italian club, according to British press reports. According to the French sports press, the English club would have accepted the second proposal.
