The main purpose of the Solar Eclipse Mauritius Facebook page is to make Mauritians aware of the event which should not be missed at any cost. Let us know if you are organizing events on this occasion so that we could share with everyone. All those who have a passion for Astronomy are encouraged to participate and share their knowledge with us.

It should also be noted that you won’t be able to observe the eclipse with the naked eye. In order not to damage your eyes special glasses or filters should be used. These will be available very soon at a cheap price so that everyone can have the opportunity to watch this spectacular scene without any risk. As the stock will be limited, you can reserve yours as from now by sending us a message on the Facebook page. We will communicate further on the distribution later.
