Jean Harel Philippe was admitted in the intensive care unit of a clinic for several days. He passed away on Sunday, September 4th. He was the victim of an aneurysm. His funeral is scheduled for Monday September 5.
Note: Aneurysm is an excessive localized swelling of the wall of an artery.
Harel Philippe was suspected of involvement in several cases. He was particularly implicated in the shooting at Petit-Verger. This killed the fishmonger Yoven Velangany on Saturday, April 19, 2014. The gunmen, in fact, was settling a score with Steven Mootoocurpen, the “cousin” of Yoven Velangany. But they “missed” their target killing a fishmonger from buckshot discharge.
In 2012, he was arrested for illegal possession of three firearms and bullets. He was then director of the security firm Bodyguard Ltd and he was released against a bail.
