High tension prevailed in the St. Claire area in Goodlands on Wednesday afternoon September 21 during a “crackdown” operation conducted by several police units.
The police went there to search the house of a resident of St. Claire after they received information that the suspect was involved in a suspicious transaction.
Once there, the police had to deal with a hostile crowd. Many residents banded together and tried to attack the police to prevent them from conducting the search.
The police did not back down. They were able to conduct the search; an exercise that did not work. They then conducted a search on land located not far from the house in question.
This exercise proved successful to the extent that the police discovered nine feet cannabis pants.
There is no indication that can associate these cannabis pants to the owner of the house searched. This is why no arrests have been made so far. The police left after 45 minutes.
