The Bambous police are in the presence of an anonymous letter in the case of the death of the French military Joachim Giuseppe Paumero since Monday September 19.
“Ena la main sa van la dans la mort Paumero,” it is written in the letter with the number plate of the vehicle in question. An employee of a hotel in the south of Mauritius who fell on the letter in a room. He handed it to the police.
The corpse in advanced state of decomposition was found at the foot of a cliff at Bassin-Vert in Bambous in July after being reportedlymissing for 12 days.
The autopsy, performed by Dr. Sudesh Kumar Gungadin and Prem Chamane, concluded that the death of Giuseppe Joachim Paumero is due to multiple injuries. The victim had a fractured skull, jaw and spine. A thorough investigation has been claimed after the report of the autopsy. The case was referred to the Major Crime Investigation Team. The Forensic Science Laboratory report is expected in this case.
