A projector of 2000 watts, hanging from the studio A ceiling of the MBC in Ébène, fell while broadcasting a show on Monday October 3.
The presenter of the program, a guest and three cameramen were in the studio A at the time of the incident that luckily caused no injuries.
Teka Jankee, president of the Mauritius Broadcasting Service Staff Association, criticized a lack of rigor of those “health and safety” responsible from the MBC at the time of the spotlight installation.
