Striptease At Flic En Flac: “On n’est pas a Maurice pour travailler”

The day of Monday October 3 was not a rest day for the six foreign women arrested at the Gentlemen’s Club located in Flic en Flac on the night of Friday to Saturday September 30.

The Criminal Investigation Division of Port Louis proceeded with the examination of these dancers including Ukrainian. The dancers are: Elmira Hasano, 27, Dubynka Anna, 29, Kryshyna Paniushkina, 18, Tyvoniuk Alisa, 33, Lipinska Vika, 28, and a Belize national Jessel Monique Lauriano.

In the presence of their lawyer Mr. Rouben Mooroongapillay, the charming dancers have all said they are tourists. They added that they are not in Mauritius to work. After their interrogation, which ended in the evening of Monday October 3, the strippers were allowed to return to their residence in Flic-en-Flac.

At the Western Division, investigations have been intensified to determine whether these women are victims of human trafficking. After questioning the charming dancers, investigators could again question the owner of the Gentlemen’s Club, Popo Hazareesing.

Moreover, steps have already been initiated so that these women and their guide Olexandr Paschiny, a Ukrainian national, leave the country on Tuesday afternoon October 4.
