Medics in Kazakhstan are appealing for international help after a six-year-old girl was sexually assaulted so badly she is now in a coma.

A six-year-old girl is fighting for her life in a coma after being raped by a vile pedophile who kidnapped her.

The tragic youngster is believed to have suffered brain damage and heat stroke after she was left bleeding to death in the scorching heat on a beach.

She was rushed to hospital, but medics in Kazakhstan are now appealing for international help as they fear her condition may deteriorate.

The girl is in a Stage 3 coma after she was kidnapped and attacked while out shopping with her grandmother on August 25.

The victim disappeared when she went with her grandmother to the Ivanich grocery store located in the fourth district of the city of Aktau in western Kazakhstan.

The grandmother told Russian news site Lada that the girl was running in and out of the store when someone grabbed her and ran off.

Her relatives spent two and a half hours looking for the girl before she was found in a critical condition on a beach called Nur Plaza after having being raped.

Doctors said she was suffering severe bleeding and what was reported in local media as a thermal stroke.

They said had she been left another couple of hours she would have died.

Both of her grandmothers are at her bedside and say they are now desperately hoping that an external medical team might be able to offer advice.

An Indian medical team has been contacted to assist, but the family said they were still waiting for a reply.

Local doctors have admitted they are helpless even after transferring the girl to the National Research Center of motherhood and childhood in the city of Astana.

The grandmother said: “Currently we are waiting for the doctors from India. Soon we will know if they will come or not.”

Her current doctor, Dr Altynshash Dzhaksybaeva said: “Her condition is very critical. Due to the events that happened to the girl, her brain received no oxygen for a rather long period of time, causing damage to it.”

The police have arrested a man, 32, who has been treated at a hospital for the mentally ill, according to local reports.
