[Update] Police Chase In St Pierre: Two Minors Arrested In A 4×4; Driver Missing

The St Pierre police were patrolling the region on Sunday evening October 9 when they spotted a 4×4 parked in a wasteland.

On seeing the police vehicle approaching their vehicle, the 4×4 driver sped away. According to a close source, the 4×4 hit a truck near Kendra and continued its road. The 4×4 struck against a rock in Chebel and tried to flee by colliding against the police vehicle. But the police continued to chase them and was able to stop the vehicle in Chebel.

However, the driver was missing and two minors aged 14 and 16 years who were at the back seat were arrested. The driver of the police vehicle was slightly injured. According to him, the 4×4 driver sprayed a substance into the eyes of his sergeant when the latter approached the vehicle. Bottles of beers were found in the vehicle and the two minors were not in their state of mind at that time. They are suspected of having taken drugs.

The teenage girls were questioned by the sleuths of the Central Criminal Investigation Department on Monday October 10. They explained that they were talking with the driver and his son before they fled. The vehicle driver and his son are sought by the police.
