Fatal Accident At Quatres Bornes: Oliver Borrowed A Motorcycle Before Crashing Against Coaster

A 15-year-old was driving a 125 cc motorcycle in the evening of Saturday October 22, when he collided with a coaster in the Cossigny street, Quatre-Bornes. He was transported to Victoria Hospital where his death was confirmed.

Oliver Ezequiel Ramtanon did not survive his injuries. The coaster that he crashed against was driven by J. Rajkumar, 42. The motorcycle had no license plate. In addition, the headlight was damaged and the motorcyclist was not wearing a reflective vest.

The coaster driver explained to investigators that the motorcyclist came and crashed against his vehicle at high speed.

The driver of the coaster was taken to the police station of Quatre-Bornes, where he was tested for alcohol that was negative.

Questioned in the presence of his lawyer on Sunday, he told how the accident occurred. “Je sortais de Vacoas Road pour me rendre en direction de Saint-Paul. à la rue Cossigny, la motocyclette qui venait à vive allure m’a percuté,” said the driver.
