Jimmy Neerputh, accused of killing his girlfriend Anais Jean, was transferred to the High Security Psychiatric Ward of the Brown Sequard Hospital on Thursday afternoon, 27 October, after a suicide attempt before his arrest on Wednesday, October 26.
This inhabitant of La Tour-Koenig, 23, complained of neck pain. He was first examined by a doctor of the Victoria Hospital and then by a psychiatrist.
Jimmy Neerputh will be presented in court after his release from the hospital.
He is accused of having strangled his girlfriend Anais Jean, 18, in a bucket filled with water after a dispute over the access code of the mobile phone of the victim.
Anaïs Jean was found dead in her bathroom in Barkly.
