Jean Christophe Angeline, aka Torti, returned to the scene of the attack he was the author in February. The suspect, arrested on October 18 in Belle-Mare by the criminal police of Terre-Rouge, participated in a reconstruction of the crime on Wednesday November 2.
Provisionally charged with attempted murder, the suspect was escorted by detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division of Terre-Rouge, led by inspector Derochoonee. The reconstruction of events started around 10 AM in St. Joseph, in the place where the assault occurred. Torti explained that he had a clash with Yogeshwarsing Priam, 27, in a nightclub in Flic-en-Flac. He followed him once the festival ended that day.
Arriving in St. Joseph, Terre-Rouge, the suspect rammed his car on the security guard, who was on a motorcycle. The victim lost his balance before falling. Torti and Kinsley Quirin then gave the latter several blows. Yogeshwarsing Priam also received cuts from a saber.
On Wednesday, the suspect showed the detectives where Kinsley Quirin and him assaulted the security officer. They explained that they were went back in their car after their dirty work, leaving the victim seriously injured on site.
After completion of the reconstruction of events, Torti was renewed in police cell. He is also suspected of committing other crimes.
