A formal demand will be sent to the Ministry of Public Service on Friday November 11, announces the president of the union Rashid Imrith on Radio Plus.

His request is motivated by the fact that officials will “lose” a holiday because January 1 2017 is a Sunday. He asserts that his request is made for all citizens of Mauritius, not just civil servants.
