A 36-year-old man was arrested by the police on Tuesday evening, November 15, in an investigation into the assault and rape of a 66-year-old woman in St. Paul, Phoenix.
In her testimony to the police, the 66-year-old lady says she was ironing clothes in a room when a stranger burst into the house where she works as a housekeeper. She says she was alone at the time of the assault and rape.
“Sa misie-la finn atak mwa depi par derier. Ti ena enn kouto avek li ek li finn koup mo lagorz ek li finn rey mwa lor mo lekor. Il m’a ensuite cogné la tête contre un mur et m’a violentée. Dimounn-la finn dir mwa li finn vini pou kokin ek li pa kone ki finn pass dan so latet li finn viol mwa,” she said in her statement.
